Rolex has introduced years ago a successful collection bearing the name of Rolex Datejust, and ever since 1945, the start model of that collection was redesigned and reequipped into becoming what we refer to today as the new Rolex Datejust Royal Black Watch. This new version embraces a refined look, given the fact that it uses diamond adornments to recreate a brilliant and classy appearance.
The new Rolex Datejust Royal Black Watch features a 36 mm in diameter case made of 18 k white gold. The size of the case was chosen to fit a feminine design, especially made for those sophisticated women that like wearing on their wrists combinations between watches and elegant accessories of jewelry. As for a woman fashion and trends are everything, it was normal that Rolex would approach an extremely modern design, recurring to diamond or black sapphires. The design was thought as to cover various tastes, and so there are two versions of the new Rolex Datejust Royal Black Watch: one featuring 60 diamonds on the bezel contrasting a black and diamonds paved dial, while the other featuring 60 black sapphires on its bezel. These two versions are available on a black rubber leather strap and gluchant strap, adorned with precious stones.
Even though the designers from Rolex have aimed at recreating the fanciest design possible, one of the strong points of this nicely looking Rolex Datejust Royal Black Watch is represented by its technical performance. The mechanism equipping this watch was C.O.S.C certified and goes by the name of Rolex 3135 Calibre, being a self-winding movement able to offer 50 hours of power reserve, along with 100 meters water resistance. Apart from the traditional functions of hour, minute and second, this watch also provides a date window located at 3 o'clock. Although no technical aspects were neglected in the manufacturing of this watch, I'm sure that many women would find its 100 meters water resistance function almost irrelevant, as no lady would put this exquisite timepiece in the water.
Rolex watches are not cheap watches. Seeing this watch with one featuring diamondse or the one with black sapphires, it can be assumed that this watch won't be cheap as others. The estimated price on the diamond adorned one is of $70,600, while the black sapphire version will cost you somewhere near $75,350. The price of the watches from Rolex always make the watch only to be worn in one's dream.
